I read 210 books last year. Crazy, right? There were some days where I would read several books in a row and I'd feel almost sick, the way one feels after eating too many rich meals. It's only February and I've already read over 30 books this year. I'm feeling a little obsessive about my reading. Books are my internet porn. So I thought I might try to turn my reading into something more productive - hence, this blog.
I'm still figuring the blog thing out but my hope is to post at least one review a week, one essay, and a links of interest post. We'll see how it goes.
You may have noticed that in order to access this blog, you have to get past the adult content warning. This is because I want to be able to use words like fuck and cunt without worrying about who is reading it. If you have a problem with those words, this might not be the place for you. If you are under 18 - get the fuck out. Seriously. You have to be over 18 to read this blog. (I know that sounds unwelcoming, especially in a post titled Welcome but I want to be upfront from the get go.)
For those who stay - Welcome. Thanks for coming.
For those who don't - no hard feelings.
I feel like I should end this first post with something inspiring or a quote but I can't really think of anything. Plus, I am pretty sure even if I did, I'd just sound like a douche.
